In recent years, with the increase of China’s national strength, the improvement of its international status, the need of world trade and the promotion of Chinese government in the international arena, the Chinese learning craze swept the world. There is a trend that Chinese education is no longer confined to the original small number of the Confucius Institutes in some overseas countries and regions, it has gradually extended to a broader educational mode by establishing formal Chinese courses in basic education. In Korea, most high schools and vocational high schools have offered compulsory Chinese language courses. Chinese government has also sent a large number of Chinese teachers to engage in Chinese language teaching in Korea every year. When facing a large group of vocational high school students, many topics have been constantly discussed by Chinese educators in Korea:how to effectively teach Chinese as a foreign language, which method should be adopted to organize teaching, how to enhance students’ interest in learning Chinese language, how to improve students’Chinese.The first part of the article points out the significance of fun Chinese language teaching, which is especially important for learners of Korean vocational high schools. Then, this paper introduces the current study of fun Chinese language teaching from three aspects:the study of examples of fun teaching games and tricks, fun teaching methods and applications, and fun Chinese language teaching for learners from different countries. Combined with author’s own experience of one year’s Chinese teaching practice in Korean Gyeonggi International Trade Vocational High School, on the basis of many related academic works and excellent articles of outstanding experts, scholars and Chinese language teachers both at home and abroad, under the survey of related people, via collecting the mid-term and final assessment results of the Chinese learners in this school, this paper gathered a lot of reliable data as reference.The second part mainly introduces basic situation of Korean vocational high schools from Chinese courses arrangement, the basic mode of teaching and teaching materials. And then give a further Introduction of the Chinese education situation of the author’s Korea Gyeonggi International Trade High School via three aspects:the basic situation of the school and the distribution of the number of learner structure, teaching content of class and target and specific teaching materials used.The third part is core part of the article. Regard action research as the main research approach, take classroom teaching in Chinese International Trade Korea Gyeonggi High School for example, from the perspective of fun Chinese teaching, teacher arranged a lot of games and songs links through the "Chinese Language I" and "Travel Chinese" in the teaching practice. Such as race games cater to the Korean education which focuses on the spirit of teamwork and individual sense of competition. The teacher grabbed the psychological characteristics Korean students and take full advantage of a great game for the competition class participation interest to arrange a large number of teaching race games, not only live up classroom atmosphere, but also instill the students the spirit of teamwork and the sense of competition. Scenario simulation teaching is mainly ask the students play a relevant role to simulate or reproduce a similar situation in real life by designing specific scenes, events, people. Through repeated rehearsals, the vocational high school students can improve oral communication in the classroom, which in turn make positive contribution to their future employment. As another example, song teaching makes full use of the beautiful melody, which is suitable for people of all ages. Coupled with the Korean people’s sing and dance tradition, it is a very enjoyable and educational experience to help the students with the Chinese learning through listening and singing Chinese songs.In the fourth part, author concludes the fun Chinese teaching practice and points out that teachers should adopted targeted teaching method for the Chinese learners of different levels, different professions and different grades. Moreover, teachers should arrange effective fun teaching links and reconsider after teaching, then raise the fun ability that teachers should possess.In all, this paper focuses on the special and important vocational high schools in Korea, analyze their practice of fun Chinese teaching methods to conclude some reflections, and then summarize them and put forward some views and opinions of the author, aiming at providing reference to teachers in Chinese teaching in Korean vocational high schools.
