The teachers of the middle school are the main part of the classroom activities,their teaching activity will produce direct action to the students’ healthy growth. Thesubjective well-being, as one of the important indicators of the positive psychologyresearch, can reflect the middle school teachers’ mental situation. The research hasconducted an investigation from216teachers in seven middle school of Dalian,adopting THE SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING QUESTIONNAIRES and THETEACHING ACTIVITY QUESTIONNAIRES in order to research the influencingfactors of the subjective well-being and teaching activity, the relation between them.The research conclusions are that the middle school teachers’ subjective well-being isnot strong, the overall teaching experience and wages and other variables have obviousinfluence on teachers’ subjective well-being, their teaching behavior in general tend toprogress orientation, the variables including their gender, age and teaching ageinfluence their teaching behavior more obviously. The middle school teachers’subjective well-being is dramatically associated with their teaching behavior, theirteaching behavior propensity is much stronger than their orientation of subjectivewell-being. The research put forward to some strategies and suggestions to increasetheir subjective well-being and improve their teaching behavior from the Angle ofeducation management, from the teachers’ professional development, the teachersmanagement system and their working environment on the basis.
