Besides, from the aspects of religion and the secular life, there are10pieces of the text telling men and women have equal rights and obligations. Furthermore, for holy example, protecting and caring for women and giving equal treatment to the female takes up the majority of the space. Even though the rule also exist belittling women’s admonition, in general the rule and the Koran advocates an open and humanizedview of women.As a whole, how should such a point of woman view affect the Islamic world today? We should look at how Islam develop in the Arab world and northwest China which both Islam has significant influence on people’s life.During the darkness of Arab countries, women can not control their own life, especially in the area of marriage and family. They are in a disadvantage position. In early Islam society, it was a period of obviously improving women’s status. While of course in the new period many places of the darkness were still inherited and compromised. In the early period of four caliphs and umayyed dynasty when Islam was spreading quickly, at the same time of the social life’s thriving, women’s status was improved. Women got ahead in many fields. With Islam spreading around the world, women faced more complicated living conditions. There are many new problems. During this period, the women’s status declined. the early success of improving women’s status regrettably disappeared. Gradually caused the phenomenon that in some Muslim countries women are discriminated now.It is not hard to see from the beginning, the Islam society had experienced the two forces struggling between respecting and belittling women. While a common place is still there—the glory of the human nature, although some time this kind of light is very weak.At the same time, in northwest China’s women’s status are low. A very important reason is that in northwest China women are under the double influence of Islam and Confucianism patriarchal suppression.Religion should be developing, and concerning with the human. The author thinks that for the problem of today’s Islamic women’s status must adhere to the religion of advancing with the time. Muslims should face their weaknesses and develop their strengths. Through the religious people giving to reasonable explanation to Islamic law, make a contribution for the improvement of women’s status. It should be the important task of the Muslim community.
