The change of social development had put forward higher requirements for the overall quality of college students,and also puts forward higher requirements for the psychological quality of college students.This has promoted the renewal of the concept of mental health education for undergraduates and the innovation and improvement of educational content.This study used comparative research method,content analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to analyze the basic status questionnaire of current college students' mental health education.According to the research results,the countermeasures related to mental health education are proposed.First,the paper further defines the relevant concepts for this research,and finds the enlightenment of positive psychology on the content of college students'mental health education.The theory of positive psychology is used to reveal the future development of college students'mental health education.Second,it studies the basic problems of college students'mental health education and analyzes the current situation of college students'mental health education.The first is the analysis of college students' mental health education materials;the second is the analysis of questionnaires;the third is to summarize and analyze the problems existing in college students'mental health education.The specific problems are:pay attention to the psychological problems of college students;college students lack initiative on psychological issues;other factors are neglected in educational activities;the content of mental health education for college students is too single.Neglecting the cultivation of college students' ability has made it impossible to meet the basic psychological needs of college students.Third,Combined with the relevant concepts of positive psychology,it proposes content that can promote the all-round development of college students,improve psychological quality,enhance subjective well-being,and promote the development of potential.In order to promote the development of the content system of college students'mental health education,the innovation of college students' mental health education content from the perspective of positive psychology is realized.
