Zeng Guofan was a controversial figure in Chinese modcrn history, the history hardly merits a conclusion so far. But in education, especially in terms of learning achievement has been recognized by the people. It can be said of his exploits from his knowledge, his knowledge from his learning, his learning thanks to its effective learning methods. Papers start from Zeng Guofan’s learning practice, combined with Zeng Guofan’s Letters, anthology, poetry volumes and diaries as the main materials, mining Zeng Guofan’s writings relating to the method of study, combined with Zeng Guofan’s viewpoints about learning and discussed the study methods. Reading through the study found that Zeng Guofan’s learning method can be described as abundance, on the one hand, he absorbed the Chinese traditional study methods, such as Suit yourself to observe, humbly brewing, punctuate, essays, notes, read aloud, dense singing and tranquil chant. On the other hand, he formed his own unique study methods, such as trace the source, emphasizing having knowledge of the psychological quality of ambition, experience and perseverance, concentrating on the real value of learning to apply their knowledge, emphasizing the study is to look for ways to achieve scanning, reading,calligraphy,writing and so on. Zeng Guofan’s learning practice and methods for the current Automonous Cooperative and Inquiry-based Learning Mode in High School Chinese Course provide a good reference and inspiration.In the preface, describes the reason of this writing, significance, review, research ideas and methods, and related concepts. There are two basic ideas:the first one is from Zeng Guofan’s learning practice to theory, practice rise to the theory; the second one is to use the theory to guide current practice in high school, the theory into practice. The basic method is to literature analysis, field observations, theoretical analysis and practical actions combined.The first chapter is the beginning of the main body of the paper. Analysis Zeng Guofan’s background of learning practice in general, including the impact of Confucian culture and his unique reading experience. Roughly divided into two periods. In the first period he studied for the fame, studied Confucian culture as content of learning, pursuing virtue and learning. In the second period Zeng Guofan consciously seeked origin of knowledge.Chapter Two specific research values of Zeng Guofan’s learning methods. Apply their knowledge is highly values its generalizations, Saint and King is where his learning purposes, in order to achieve the Confucian ideal of life. To analyze separately from the state, families and individuals at three levels. At the national level, Zeng Guofan think that people should be reasonable and useful person.At the household level, Zeng Guofan think family to follow family tradition of farming and learning. At their own level, Zeng Guofan think we should pursue a virtue and learning.Chapter Three specific research the psychological quality of Zeng Guofan’s learning methods, analyzing Zeng Guofan’s ambition, experience and perseverance. Learning ambition plays an important role in the process, determines the level of learning achievement, he respected the Confucian gentleman’s goal, the emphasis is not afraid of hard to realize the ambition. Experience is a vision, looking at the issue quasi. That must have extensive knowledge horizons. Perseverance is to insist. That secret is patience.Chapter Four specific research the basic content of Zeng Guofan’s methods to study. Roughly summarized as three aspects of width and specialization, learn from each other as well as the search of things and execution. In a first aspect:the emphasis on the choice of reading the contents is specialization. The reading program should first read through intensive reading. Reading process emphasizes concentration. In a second aspect of learnining from each other: strictly on their own, focus on with others exchanges and learn the strengths of others. In a third aspect:Zeng Guofan proposed studying requires an understanding and experience profound, not only that, but also personally, applied in practice.Chapter Five Ways specific research the ways to achieve methods. Respectively, three aspects are analyzed from the independent learning, cooperative learning, inquiry learning. Implications for autonomy in learning:First, reflected in the content selection of Chinese curriculum learning. The second is reflected in the practice of specific listening, speaking,reading and writing. Implications for cooperative learning:cooperation Learning have a sense of cooperative learning, appropriate task settings and flexible organization. Implications for inquiry learning:the core of inquiry learning is an issue. Give full play to the subjectivity of students. Teachers should pay attention to play leading role, emphasizing the role of non-intelligence factors in learning.
