Since China’s reform and opening up, China began the exploration of thesocialist modernization with Chinese characteristics, strive to achieve the historicaltransition of the traditional agricultural society to modern industrial society. Xinjiangas the motherland frontier stronghold, its modern development for nationalmodernization is crucial, and the modernization of farmers and herdsmen in xinjiangis a direct impact of the modernization of xinjiang. This research according to thefield survey data will be divided into three regions in xinjiang, the city radiation zone,the northern xinjiang animal husbandry economic zone and the southern xinjiangplanting economic zone. The families cash revenues can represent the modernizationof farmers and herdsmenas as the dependent variable, interpersonal network, familysituation, the capital of non-agricultural income, agricultural production, farming andanimal husbandry production profits as the dependent variable to establish regressionmodel, concluded that the regional modernization of farmers and herdsmen regressionmodel, and carries on the regression analysis. Analysis shows that the farmers andherdsmen in xinjiang due to the different environment, different advantages, itsmodernization development path with farmers and herdsmen in mainland also isdifferent, if they can make good use of existing resources, they can be localmodernization development.
