Evaluation Study Of New Ventur’s Resource Integration Ability

New ventures due to the small scale and short duration reasons, face a strongresource constraints which restricted their development and growth. And how to break theresource plight became the new enterprises’ major challenges. Resource integration cannot only promote new enterprises formed the core competitiveness, also help to improvethe competitive advantage. And therefore it is very necessary to study new enterprises’ability to integrate resources.At present, most of the studies about resources integration ability are focused onmature companies. Researches about the ability to integrate resource of new ventures hasnot formed systematic theoretical framework. In this paper, we analyzed the characteristicsof the new venture, teased out the newly created enterprise resource integration processand explain the meaning of the ability to integrate resources. On the basis of the ability tointegrate resources, we established evaluation model, and used gray multi-level analysismethod for the evaluation to provide a reliable theoretical basis for the enterprise’ resourceintegration ability.First, we reviewed and summarized the relevant research results at home and abroad.The main influencing factors include new research ventures, enterprise resource type,resource integration, and integration of resources. And then we pointed out the previousresearches’ inadequacies.Secondly, on the basis of the integration process of combing resources, we definedthe connotation of a newly created enterprise resource integration capability. And then theability to integrate resources evaluation index system is established on the basis of acomprehensive analysis of a variety of factors. The index system includes four first-levelindicators and thirteen secondary indicators. After this we described the use of graymulti-level analysis to evaluate the detailed process of new venture resource integrationcapability.Finally, we selected a specific enterprise as a case study to evaluate its ability tointegrate resources. And based on the results of the evaluation of this enterprise’s resourceintegration capability, we pointed out some advices to help the new ventures to improve their resource integration capability.
