Study On The Improvement Of Work-related Injury Rehabilitation System In China

Work-related injury rehabilitation system is the use of modern means andtechniques of recovery. It is designed to provide services in medical rehabilitation,vocational rehabilitation and so on for disabled persons suffered from work-relatedinjury, to maximize their recovery and improve their physical function and self-careability, and to restore or improve their professional work ability as much as possible,in order to help disabled workers back to work and return to society in an all-roundway. Work-related injury rehabilitation system, together with compensation systemand prevention system, constitutes an indispensable part of the "trinity" combinationof the modern work-related injury insurance system. With the development ofwork-related injury insurance system, its importance has become increasinglyprominent. As a result, the development of work-related injury rehabilitation systemhas been attracting more and more attention.In recent years, China began to promote pilot work in injury rehabilitation. Andafter years of system construction and practice exploration, work-related injuryrehabilitation program in China has gradually entered the stage of comprehensivereform and development. But on the whole it is still at the initial exploration stagewith many problems in the process of design and operation, such as imperfect legislation, lack of publicity, missing content, management confusion, andinsufficient technical and personnel support, etc., severely restricting the normaloperation effect of rehabilitation program.In view of this, this paper tries to put forward relevant ideas and suggestionsabout the promotion of work-related injury rehabilitation system in China, based onnational conditions and the current development situation of rehabilitation system, byanalyzing the practical problems existing in the system, learning from foreign anddomestic development experience. This paper consists of five major components:The first part is an introduction of the background of this topic selection and itssignificance, with the overview of domestic and foreign research situation forwork-related injury rehabilitation system and the research methods and possibleinnovation points, etc.The second part is the related theoretical study of work-related injuryrehabilitation system, introducing the connotation, content and operating mechanismof the rehabilitation system, and analyzing the theoretical basis for its establishment,as well as the importance and necessity of its implementation.The third part analyzes the current development situation and existing problemsin our work-related injury rehabilitation system. Through research on rehabilitationsituation of work-related injury workers in Wuxi City, combined with practicemodels of several representative provinces, this part seeks problems of work-relatedinjury rehabilitation system in China.The fourth part is a reference of domestic and foreign rehabilitation systems,which summarizes related situations and experiences from home and abroadrespectively.Based on our national conditions, the fifth part comes up with relevant ideas andsuggestions on further improvement of the work-related injury rehabilitation systemin China.
