Performance appraisal is a process which refers to the appraiser control worktarget or performance standards, using certain assessment methods, assessment ofemployees working in the task, the staff’s working responsibility fulfillment degreeand the development of staff, and the evaluation result feedback to the employees.Effective performance appraisal management system not only can help enterprises tomeet the target, creating high performance, reflect enterprise strategy implementationability, and is the enterprise development of continuous power. Only companiesestablishing themselves in a rational and efficient, practical performance evaluationsystem, to improve the staff’s enthusiasm, creativity, and can form a suitable effectiveand excellent human resources management system of enterprise development. Themodern competitive market economy for the enterprise is very important.China’s construction industry in the national economy has been occupying animportant pillar status, Construction belongs to the labor intensive, managementintensive industry, How to the company of all kinds of employees, especially theprincipals, project manager for the correct performance evaluation, and fully mobilizetheir enthusiasm, to the development of the company is also important.Based on HD Construction Company as an example, the paper first introducesthe related theory of performance evaluation, based on the analysis of the HDconstruction company performance evaluation system present situation and itsappraisal result. At the same time, from the current development situation ofconstruction industry, this paper pointed out that in the increasingly fierce competitionenvironment, HD construction company performance evaluation system defects. Onthis basis, according to the needs of the development company and performanceappraisal satisfaction survey, put forward the company’s performance appraisal systemdesign optimization of overall train of thought and principle, and the use of thebalanced scorecard approach, around the performance indicators of performanceevaluation of company design, process management, classification designed differentstaff performance appraisal, the optimization scheme the performance assessmentscheme of the key link. Finally, this article from the organization guarantee, enterpriseculture, system construction and so on various puts forward the guaranteeoptimization design of the performance evaluation system smooth implementnecessary supporting measures.
