Under The New Situation Agricultural Bank NingXia Branch Of Statistical Management Research

As an integral part of national economic statistic, statistical work of banking financial institiution is an indicator of national economic operation as well as a foundation of modern bank management. Apart from being an important means of external supervision, bank statistical work is also a comprehensive reflection of management performance and internal control of banking financial institutions.With the improvement of financial statistics standard system construciton of People’s Bank of China and the promulgation of Bank Supervision Statistical Data Quality Management Standard (for Trial Implementation) and the Implementing Scheme by the State Banking Supervision Commission, the banks’ statistical work is becoming more elaborate and complex instead of being simple.Since the stock listing of Agricultural Bank of China in2009, there is an increasing demand from all social sectors for the listed banks to publish the internal information. Under the new circumstance, the real challenge for Ningxia Branch of Agricultural Bank of China is to improve the efficiency of statistical management work and take fully advantage of consultative function of statistical information by applying statistical means to bank internal management.Based on the relationship between statistical work and commercial bank internal management and external supervision, this artical analyses the current statistical management situation and the practical problems of Ningxia Branch of Agricultural Bank of China from perspectives of recognition level for statistical work, information system construction, management system setting, talents training and application of statistic results.
