Research On The Development Of Urban And Rural Passenger Transport Integration

As the process of China’s urbanization was accelerated, the proposal of balancing urbanand rural development was put forward, the reform of big department system was promoted,Traffic infrastructure was improved and the travel demands of urban and rural residentschanged, Urban and Rural Passenger Transport Integration has become a necessity. In the pastfew years, the Urban and Rural Passenger Transport Integration was actively explored invarious regions, and certain achievements were made, but we need to carry out a scientificevaluation on what level it has developed into. And at present, the scholars’ research in thisfield is relatively less. In view of this, this paper focuses on the development level of theUrban and Rural Passenger Transport Integration.On the basis of the theory in research on the Urban and Rural Passenger TransportIntegration, this paper presents its common problems and corresponding countermeasures,and on the basis of its characteristics, build comprehensive evaluation index system in sixaspects, which are passenger transport management, road network construction, stationconstruction, vehicle configuration, circuit design and service performance. The Urban andRural Passenger Transport Integration is divided into excellent, good, general, poor fourgrades, and each is given corresponding indicator threshold. And based on the matter-elementevaluation method(MEEM),analytic hierarchy process theory and decision making trial andevaluation laboratory (DEMATEL), it establish the evaluation method system for Urban andRural Passenger Transport Integration. On this basis, we do empirical researches to verify theeffectiveness of the method. And the results are analyzed, and the existing problems aresolved based on the proposed countermeasures. So, a whole cycle of PDCA is formed topromote the sustainable development of the Urban and Rural Passenger Transport Integration.The results of the thesis are useful for us to evaluate the Urban and Rural PassengerTransport Integration objectively and discover its advantages and disadvantages in variousregions. By this we can provide correct decision-making basis for the decision-makingdepartments, so they can correctly grasp the direction of the Urban and Rural PassengerTransport Integration, and further promote its possess.
