With the rapid development of China’s socialism market economy, the construction of transportation infrastructure have been expanding unceasingly, and the market development forms, which is basically composed of highways, railways, waterways, aviation and pipelines, have been perfecting. Under the new circumstances, to develop a well-collaborated and intra-combined integrated transportation system which bears the goal of convenience, security, efficiency and benefits has been the only way to supply better services for economic and social development. Recent years, Gansu’s infrastructure construction of highway has obtained unprecedented achievement.The fact is that a highway network basically covered across the entire province; the railway run through it; transportation by air, water and pipeline has made considerable progress, which plays a sound fundamental supporting role in Gansu’s social and economic development by leaps and boundsMeanwhile, as the carrier of social development, economic operation and the guarantee of people’s lives, the integrated transportation system are in the current development situation, facing many challenges and choices. In view of this, it is necessary to actively explore and research integrated transportation system of Gansu to build the industrial policy.Through analysing the industrial policy of the integrated transportation system theoretically this thesis, combining with the development status of the integrated transportation system in Gansu Province, presents the necessity and feasibility of building modern integrated transportation system in Gansu Province and explores, from the operational level, the industrial policy and basic wayout of developing the integrated transportation system in Gansu Province.
