Although with the state-owned large and medium-sized enterprise reform unceasingly thorough, the management system of power supply company is gradually improved and perfected.But most of the power supply companies are still lack of research on the incentive mechanism for the grass-roots employees, which are made great efforts in development strategy and organization structure. But in terms of employment, salary distribution, occupational planning and construction of corporate culture, the power supply companies are still come to a standstill, which have negative influence on the work enthusiasm, work potential and work efficiency of grass-roots employees. Therefore, by means of using advanced theory and scientific idea to improve the internal management of companies, to establish effective incentive mechanism to solve the problem of grass-roots employees management that the power supply companies are facing in the development process is particularly urgent and important.This paper will study from two aspects of theory and practice. On the one hand, this paper will supply company grass-roots staff incentive mechanism research as a system engineering, material, spiritual, cultural and other incentives to merge into a comprehensive incentive system.On the other hand, taking L power supply company as an example, using interviews and questionnaire survey methods, carried out a detailed investigation on the motivation of L power supply company’s grass-roots employees at present, analyzed its reflects of the phenomenon, and summarized the problems and defects. Based on this, put forward some suggestions and measures for improving the incentive mechanism of grass-roots employees of the company from4aspects which are compensation system, performance appraisal, occupation development and corporate culture, in order to provide some help to the incentive mechanism reform practice of L power supply company.
