An Empirical Study Of Dalian Software Industry Competitiveness

With the economic globalization, information technology has been more widely used. As the core of the information industry, software industry is the foundation and guarantee of a national construction, is to decide on a country’s competitiveness strategic leading industry. The development of the software industry with a country’s political, economic and even social security has a close relationship, has become a focus of global competition.China clearly put forward to give priority to the development of software industry, and continue to accelerate the pace of development of the software industry. Dalian as one of the major cities of China’s software industry, if you want to speed up the construction of information technology, there must have a software industry to do support.At the same time Dalian software industry flourish for optimization of industrial structure and the improvement of the overall strength has a key strategic significance. So we select the Dalian software industry as the research object.This article altogether is divided into six parts. The first part mainly introduces this topic research background and significance, the research both at home and abroad, the study method of the article and ideas, content of the study and innovation;the second part mainly introduces the concepts and theories of the software industry and industrial competitiveness;the third part introduces the general situation and development characteristics of the development of software industry in Dalian, carries on the SWOT analysis of dalian software industry;the fourth part is mainly based on the principle of selecting regional software industry competitiveness index constructed evaluation index system;the fifth part is the empirical analysis of the dalian software industry competitiveness, using the factor analysis method;the sixth part is a comparative evaluation of the Dalian software industry competitiveness, proposes strategies and recommendations.This article through consulting a large number of reference literature, collecting relevant information about the software industry competitiveness, using the method of combining quantitative and qualitative analysis, theoretical and empirical analysis,through the software industry input, industry output, market performance and innovation environment four aspects, established the evaluation index system, using SPSS statistical analysis software has carried on the empirical research. This article is positioning the competitiveness of the regional software industry, selected with the development of specialized Dalian software industry as the object of analysis, and targeted choice of three software industry is relatively developed coastal cities to compare with Dalian, through the comparative evaluation then proposed strategies and recommendations,it is also an innovation of this paper.
