In recent years, corporate culture has been more and more valued by enterprises, and one of these is the tobacco corporation. However, in practice, the construction of corporate culture has not been integrated into business strategy to become an important job to enhance core competition of the enterprises. It is superficial and formal, so it can not be the driving force of the enterprises’development.Based on the related theories of corporate culture and the actual experience of Hunan Tobacco Corporation and under the principle of combination of theory and practice, this article made a detailed analysis and discussion of the construction of corporate culture in Hunan Tobacco Corporation through the application of corporate culture and the related management theories to the specific cases.It reviewed the domestic and foreign study on corporate culture and introduced the experience and enlightenment of the domestic and foreign enterprises’corporate culture construction, also it deeply analyzed the corporate culture condition of the Hunan tobacco industry in four aspects including the spirit culture, management culture, behavior culture and service culture. According to the analysis, it put forward a solution from the system construction of subsidiary and parent culture structure and service brand building, etc. The solution is that when the provincial corporation designs a framework of cultural management, it must take full consideration of the position functions and requirements approved from China national tobacco corp., and assume liability of transmission and following the industry culture structure system, meanwhile form three level structure which can be matched to the strategic positioning. The first level is common values, industry vision and the mission of the tobacco industry; the second one is the spirit, business philosophy and service purpose; the third one is the regional culture structure system and service brand which are combined with each subsidiary under the leading of the parent culture. The first and the second levels composed of the core concept of the corporate culture in Hunan tobacco corp., and became a principle which the core concept of corporate culture in each subsidiary has to stand up. They must be in line with the core concept of Hunan tobacco corporation and embody the commonplace of subsidiary and parent culture to form the common value basis of the tobacco commercial system in Hunan. In order to ensure that corporate culture can be internalized in the mind, showed in the behavior and rooted in the soul, this article concluded to build the basic principles and behavior norms which all staff of Hunan tobacco corporation should obey, and it can direct the behavior of employees in three aspects including social ethic, occupation moral, civilized etiquette. In the construction of the service brand, we need to hold on the planning, management and guidance of province enterprises, and persist the building, promoting, enhancing of the state enterprises in order to progressively implement the change from the product distribution to the unification of management and service.At the same time, the corporate culture construction of Hunan tobacco corporation needs the effective communication channel and training implementation measures to make the core values presented methodically so that the internal and external can be identified and recognized. Through implementation of the mechanism in the corporate culture evaluation system construction, we ensure that the corporate culture construction goal can match the corporate management goal, and make corporate culture construction always in the right direction to promote the long-term development of enterprises.
