| As a scarce natural resource, Land plays an important role in human survival and development, especially to city land resources. It has a close relationship with the city of urbanization and economic growth. With the expanding population, the development of economy and the progress of city, the contradiction between people and land become more and more serious in our country. Because of the disorder of the city land structure and the low efficiency of land use, limited land resources are extremely wasteful, which poses a threat to the sustainable development of city. So many researchers studied the problems of land use in the city, but most of the studies were centered in the major cities of the developed areas. Researchs about towns and mid-sized cities were very scarce, especially in the backward areas. No matter what kind of the city, the study of land is the same important to economic development. As a representative of undeveloped areas in the midland, the land use status of Anhui Province has a referential significance.By reviewing research results of city land use theory and the city land utilization efficiency at home and abroad, we defined many basic connotations of the concept, such as the efficiency of city land utilization. According to the advantages of both of the principal component analysis method and the stochastic frontier analysis method, this paper constructs a PCA-SFA composite evaluation model. We use the seventeen cities in Anhui Province as the object of study and we get four conclusions from the evaluation of city land use efficiency in Anhui Province during2003-2011.(1) Anhui province overall land use efficiency is in general level;(2) Land use efficiency in Anhui province increased quickly in ten years;(3) In land use efficiency there was a gap between different cities of Anhui province;(4) The Anhui province regional land use efficiency has certain difference.In the end of this paper, we put forward four land management related policy suggestions according to the conclusion.(1) Make reasonable overall plan; (2) Pay attention to the efficiency of resource use when Government making decisions;(3) Establish reasonable city land reserve system;(4) Strengthen the management of handover areas between city and village. |
