Study Of Upgrading Mode Of Enterprises Embedded In The High-end Of Global Value Chain

On a global scale, in the vast majority of industry of Global Value chain (Global Value Chain, GVC), the main developed countries, as a leading enterprise of chain role, firmly control the Value chain link。 While the participating enterprises from the developing countries face with many obstacles from the leading enterprise, they are locked in the low value-added links, sometimes even fall in the "miserable growth"。 Recently with the increase of domestic labor costs, our country’s low-centend manufacturing enterprises in the global value chain face even greater than "miserable growth"。 For them even the "production and employment growth"is difficult to guarantee。 Research shows that many mainland enterprises have lots of development opportunities and space to be discovered, so enterprises can take different upgrade modes according to their own resources and capabilities as well as the environment changes。"huge economic value" will bing to enterprises if they promote themselves from low-end links to the high-end segment。This article adopts the research method of multiple cases to discuss the upgrading mode of the high-end enterprise embedding in global value chain, and establish a reasonable theoretical framework。In this paper, combine with the "case study" and the "grounded theory" methods, we study the upgrade process of enterprises embedded in the high-end of GVC。First of all, on the basis of literature research, this article reviewed the related research to the problem of upgrading mode of enterprises embedded in the high-end of GVC。and organize the main view, and have a brief review of the contribution they have made to the development of the theory of enterprises’upgrading mode and the problems still need to be solved。Then we have the research design expounded, we carry on the elaboration of the scientific nature from four aspects, they are case study method, case selection, data collection and data analysis strategy。Then we encode and analyze the collected data by grounded theory analysis, the line is open coding, spindle type code and selecting type code。The open coding category need to have the research materials scattered to refine the initial category。then establish logic contact among initial categories to have the main categories concluded。This process is called the main type coding。 and finally we further analysis, refine and summarize the logical relationship between each category, dig up the core category to develop the "story line"。This process is called "selecting type code"。Then we analyze the principle of research finding from coding analysis with three typical cases。And then arrange the upgrading mode mechanism of enterprises inserting into high-end global value chain systemlyo Extracting the upgrading mode of enterprises inserting into high-end global value chain。In the final we come to the research conclusion and put forward the research proposal。...
