With the globalization of the world economy and the increasingly fiercecompetition among enterprises, innovation can enable enterprises to obtain corecompetencies to achieve sustainable development. However, the R&D investment inChina is still very low. And the lack of independent innovation capability has becomea bottleneck which restricting the development of China’s enterprises, compared to thedeveloped countries. Recent studies have shown that organizational culture has beenthe key factor of the enterprise innovation capability. This paper attempts to explorethe relationship between organizational culture and innovation capability, from thepoint of view of knowledge management strategy, that provides some guidances forChinese enterprises to enhance innovation capability.In this paper, the knowledge management strategy is the medium. It explored therelationship between organizational culture and innovation capability. Most of thestudies were based on one of knowledge management activities as the medium. Fewstudies to explore the relationship between organizational culture and innovationcapability from the perspective of knowledge management strategy. This paper tooktheoretical analysis, empirical analysis and case studies to explore the relationshipamong organizational culture, knowledge management strategy and innovationcapability. In this paper, the organizational culture was divided into clan culture,innovative culture, hierarchy culture and market culture; the knowledge managementstrategy was divided into personality strategy and codification strategy. The mainconclusions of this paper are as follows: clan culture and innovative culture tend tochoose personality strategy, and hierarchy culture tends to choose codificationstrategy; the personality strategy is medium of the positive relationship betweeninnovative culture and innovation capability, and the codification strategy is mediumof the positive relationship between hierarchy culture and innovation capability.This paper choose X company as rhe study case,which elaborated furtherly inorder to provide practical refrence for enterprises to enhance innovation capability.Finally, it posed the outlook for future research.
