There is a lot of rich tourism resources in Hubei province. Over30years of reform and opening-up, the inbound tourism service trade of Hubei province has made great achievements in development scale, market structure, consumption structure, the development of tourism resources and related infrastructure construction. But in comparison, the competitiveness is still relatively weak.The measured results of international market share index shows that, the competitiveness of inbound tourism service trade of Hubei Province is at the middle level in china, and the advantage is also not obvious in the six central provinces. Multivariate regression test results show that the factor of tourism unit numbers have significant positive impact on the competitiveness of inbound tourism service trade of Hubei Province, while the factor of fixed assets value of tourism industry doesn’t have significant impact, and the factor of tourism employees has significant negative impact.In order to improve the competitiveness, this article argues that measures taken are:develop some special tourism products, implement the strategy of going global, cultivate high-quality talents of tourism industry, strengthen tourism reception capacity, attach great importance to the tourism industry chain and the construction of the linkage mechanism, etc.
