The process of product innovation design generally contain four stages, such as product planning, concept design, technology design and detailed design, how to obtain and analyze the functional requirements in the stage of product planning become the key to the whole innovation project. For instance, an innovative product is difficult to obtain the approval of customers if it’s short of the user’s favorite functions, no matter how good the other aspects. Meanwhile, the input and output ratio of the innovative project must be well below the expected target, so it is a case of failure.This paper expounds many important theory and methods based on the study of how to obtain and analyze the functional requirements from user in the stage of product planning, such as the S-curve of the product life based on the theory of TRIZ, evolutionary path of law, Kano model two-dimensional scale and questionnaire design methods、the Product planning matrix exist in QFD theory and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on fuzzy mathematical model. All this are around the most important task of obtaining and analyzing the functional requirements from user efficiently and according to the laws of science. On the base of analyzing and integrating the related theory and methods, I creat the model of obtaining and analyzing the functional requirements from user. Meanwhile, I analyze the problems existing in the Anyou company original model of obtaining and analyzing the functional requirements from user according to these theory and the integrating model.In order to solve these problems existing in the Anyou company original model of obtaining and analyzing the functional requirements from user, I put forward the improvement measures and overall process according to these theories and the integrating model. At last, this paper verifies the practical maneuverability and effectiveness of these improvement measures, on the other hand, but also provides the reference for the improvement measures applied in the case.
