The result showed that the comprehensive benefits of Yakeshi shantytowns land consolidation achieved a relatively good results which including a good rating for economic benefit and a relatively good rating for social and ecological benefits. That is to say, economic benefits of shantytowns land consolidation is remarkable, which realized industrial transformation and upgrading successfully to ensure people’s living level had a steady implement, to get rid of a series of problems which brought from the transformation of resource-dependent cities, to achieve take-off economic development again. Ecological benefits still have a large space to improve in many ways such as the degree of urban space aesthetic feeling and daily urban sewage treatment capacity, in order to realize mutual promotion of the beautiful environment and urbanization. Social benefits achieved good results which produce positive effects on the improvement in people’s livelihood.While living space per person still has room to improve and the truth that people’s support rate is high but satisfaction degree is low,which points out the long-term and complexity of shantytown land consolidation work.Finally, this paper proposes the following policy recommendations for the problems existed in land consolidation shantytown Yakeshi work:1.To implement funds resources of rebuilding shanty area. Local government should actively broaden capital source channels and guide banks and other financial institutions to provide various forms of supports like loan size, commitments, guarantees and others. When the process of shantytowns land consolidation relates to public construction projects, enterprises should be guided to participate in the process actively by preferential policy.2. To achieve the orderly construction of the shantytown by combining with the city planning closely. Actively carrying out a beneficial mode of shantytown renovation projects which correspond with overall land use planning and urban planning. And implementing the handover of construction and allocation housing to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of people.3. To realize the economic, social and ecological environment coordinated development and to guarantee the land comprehensive benefit maximization. Through Shantytowns land consolidation work to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, to provide good development space for the new emerging industrial city, to improve residents’ living environment, to ensure the urban land utilization benefit maximization and to realize sustainable development of city.
