Our country is the second largest in terms of the world heritages.World heritage isa kind of scarce and non-renewable resources, which owns tourism value, scientificvalue, artistic value and other comprehensive values.It’s need and necessary to protectthe World heritage.But the protection of the World heritage faces with the challengesfrom the political, economic, environmental, and social aspects.It’s a focus of academiaand governments that how to correctly deal with the the dialectical relationship betweenheritage conservation and heritage utilization in practice.A large number of theoryresearches and practices have proved that the world heritage tourism sustainabledevelopment is the key to coordinate the relationship between heritage protection andutilization.This article build a tourism ecological footprint model made by tourism food,accommodation, transportation, visiting, shopping, entertainment, and solid waste sevensub model, and use it do quantitative research on the world natural heritage site abouttourism sustainable development of wulong karst world natural heritage site.On thebasis of the calculation results and comprehensive analysis, this paper put forwardsome strategies for its heritage tourism sustainable development.Through the research and analysis, this paper get the following conclusion:1.The factors that affect the regional tourism ecological footprint include touristhotels, tourist consumption behavior patterns, tourist spatial behavior model and scaleof regional tourism facilities, etc. Among them, tourist hotels is the most importantfactor that influence the tourism ecological footprint.2.Wulong karst world tourism ecological footprint and tourist hotels are naturallyrelated. In the case of the existing conditions, and the critical tourist number is3.9448million people to ensure the sustainable development of tourism of wulong karst worldnatural heritage sites.3.from the constitute of tourism ecological footprint of Wulong world naturalheritage sites,ecological footprint of tourism food, tourism transport and tourism wasteecological footprint occupy the vast majority of tourism ecological footprint.4.2007-2012, the average of wulong karst world natural heritage site tourismecological footprint is18285.94hm2, of tourism ecological carrying capacity is40421.98hm2;Per capita average of tourism ecological footprint is0.0094hm2, oftourism ecology capacity is328.628hm2.Wulong karst world natural heritage site tourism development is in "sustainable" state, but the tourist ecological surplus reducingyear after year and falling rapidly, which suggests that the "sustainable" developmentdegree of tourism is lower and lower.On the basis of comprehensive analysis of the result of the calculation, this articleput forward wulong karst world natural heritage site tourism sustainable developmentstrategyfrom the regional tourism ecological footprint reduction and improve regionalecological carrying capacity two aspects, in order to help coordinate the relationship ofthe contradiction between tourism development and utilization.
