Performance appraisal as the core part of performance management of commercial banks,play an important role in improving employee productivity as well as enhancing operating results and bank’s competitiveness.establish a appraisal system of great practical significance which can promote the carry out of the strategic goal is very important for commercial banks.The found of GanSu bank is short,and employee performance appraisal system construction is still in the exploratory stage,which exists some problems:single dimension of assessment,evaluation index design is not refined,paid little attention on the creativity of employees and so on.Therefore,how to gradually improve employee performance appraisal system,and making it an important tool to promote the realization of the strategic objectives of the bank,is one of the major problems faced by the Gansu bank.This paper is divided into five parts:the first part introduces the research background,significance,and the major content of the paper;the second part describes the main contents of the balanced scorecard,and take the Tokyo UFJ Bank for example to illustrate the balanced scorecard application in commercial banks;on the basis of the existing performance appraisal,the third part introduces the necessity of bringing in the BSC for Gansu bank based on the existing problems of Gansu bank employee performance appraisal and the goods of BSC.The forth part is the core of thin article.The author based on the basic principles of the Balanced Scorecard and the actuality of Gansu bank,designed the employee performance appraisal system of Gansu bank,including assessment indicators,assessment period,assessment scoring,assessment standards,performance pay calculation;part five describes the implementation steps and related measures to ensure the effective implementation of the performance appraisal system of Gansu bank...
