| The Dian Lake basin is the political, economic, cultural and social construction center of Yunan Province, and it is also the most developed, densely populated area with the highest urbanization level. The Dian Lake is the mother lake of Kunming city, which laid the foundation for the city’s existence and development. With the accelerating urbanization process, Kunming discharged large amounts of waste water into the Dian Lake in industrial production and daily life. As a result, the ecological environment of the Dian Lake basin deteriorated and calls for improvement.As per the overall plan for comprehensive environment improvement of the Dian Lake Basin, six projects were launched, including the pollution interception project, water diversion and saving project, river improvement project, agricultural and countryside improvement project, ecological restoration and construction project and ecological desilting project. Based on Urban Water Resources Protection and Recovery Technology Study of the Plateau and Basin (serial No.:201101042),the thesis conducts research on the Dian Lake basin, carrying out in-depth analysis on the major issues it’s faced with and the status quo of pollution. The thesis ascertains the influence of the comprehensive environment improvement project on the water quality of the Dian Lake Basin, and predicts the influence of the Niulan River-Dian Lake Water Replenishing Project on the water quality improvement of Dian Lake. Meanwhile, it puts forward some solutions to helping the comprehensive environment improvement of the Dian Lake Basin.Research shows that the water environment pollution of the Dian Lake is very serious, and the pollutant index of the river dramatically decreased after the comprehensive environment improvement project was launched, which remarkably reduced pollution discharge into the Dian Lake and improved its water quality. In order to achieve the goal of improved water quality of the Dian Lake in2020, The Dian Lake needs to be replenished with600million cubic meters of water annually, which can increase its water environment volume, shorten the span of water exchange between the Dian Lake and other waters. Other measures plus the Niulan River-Dian Lake Water Replenishing Project can swiftly improve the water environment of the Dian Lake and promote regional sustainable development. Construction and restoration the Dianchi lakeside wetland and ecological forest, constructing the natural lake ecosystem structure,forming a complete ecological belt lakeside from terrestrial to aquatic gradual transition, have significant removal effect on pollutant carrying on river sewage, agricultural non-point source sewage.The research result of the thesis can serve as a theoretical foundation and policymaking basis for the comprehensive environment improvement of the Dian Lake Basin in the coming years. |
