With the progress of science and technology, the rapid development of economy, our country is at a crucial period of industrialization and informatization. Because of the improvement of people’s living standard, people’s concept on safety and security has changed fundamentally and supervision and management of coal mine safety production are facing an unprecedented challenge. As the characteristic of the management of the coal mine safety supervision is with a broad area,continuous process and dynamic change, it’s hard to supervise all staffs, the whole process and all-round safety by the traditional manual method. As a result, the use of information technology and innovation of safety supervision is urgently needed. The scientificand modern management of coal mine safety production supervisionwith information, the promotion of coal mine safety supervision and the raise the efficiency of safety inspection in coal mines are the main approaches and breakthrough to solve the current problemsabout production safety.Combined with China’s safety production information status and policy background, from the point of view of coal mine safety supervision information construction, and comparative analysis of domestic and abroad coal mine situation of production safety and security regulatory information status, we learn from the advanced experience at home and abroad. On the basis of the actual situation of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of coal mine safety production supervision and the analysisthe existing problems of Inner Mongolia coal mine safety supervision and management of information construction, we put forward setting upthe integrated system about the combination of information technology and coal mine safety supervision. On the one hand, it can make the supervision and administration of production safety department to access the real-time information of coal mine safety production information, and we can discover in time and eliminate the hidden danger of coal mine safety production. On the other hand, through the operation of the integrated information system, the analysis of historical operating data, decision-making and summing up the accident regulations, we determine the supervision focus so as to curb the frequent coal mine accidents. Thirdly, due to saving costs of monitoring, it greatly alleviates the manpower and funds of the safety supervision departments at present.Anyway, coal mine safety supervision information construction of Inner Mongolia will enable the coal mine safety production supervision and management of the whole regions to be network, digitalization and standardization to make a fundamental improvement in the coal mine production safety of the region.
