Mine drainage system is an important part of coal safety production, to carry out the important task of discharging the underground water. This paper takes the two levels of Pingdingshan 8th mine pumping station automation projects as the background, and designs a intelligent coal mine drainage control system which adapt to the modern production management by using computer communication networks, sensors, intelligent control technology.The intelligent mine drainage control system consists of underground pump station, PC, monitoring station and communication network. The system selects Siemens S7-300 series PLC as the core controller for receiving the control command of the operation table and PC, real-time acquisition parameters of the sensor and complete communication with the ground monitoring sub-stations. S7-200 series PLC, as monitoring sub-stations controller, collects water temperature and water level parameter, and completes communication with the master station. With operation buttons and touch-screen on the local operation table, the pump system can achieve centralized control and monitoring. The control network connects PLC and PC by using industrial Ethernet.This paper discusses the intelligent control strategy based on the goal of saving electricity costs, and proposes two optimal strategies. One is based on "avoid peak and fill valley" optimal control strategy, for the deficiency of the prior policy, be improved by introducing a method of predicting water influx, and applied to actual production. The second is to build a discrete mathematical model of the pump, through the dynamic programming method to achieve the goal of saving electricity costs.Drainage control system PC software is designed with i Fix configuration software, realizes the remote monitoring and unmanned. PC operating system also has operation record and fault alarm records query and other functions, can be intuitive, comprehensive monitoring of the entire system.The actual operation shows that the system configuration is reasonable, stable, the indicators have reached the design requirements, improve the production efficiency of coal mining enterprises and the level of modern management.
