Water inrush in coal mines seriously threats the safety of underground workers,the underground drainage system is responsible for the removal of underground water.The drainage system of Caojiatan Coal Mine is traditional manual operation,which is low automatic control level.In order to save energy and human resource cost,the automatic drainage system with the unattended operation of the central pump house was constructed in Caojiatan Coal Mine by integrating the intelligent sensing,intelligent control and industrial Ethernet networks technology.The main research contents of this paper are list below.(1)According to the hydrogeological conditions and the coal mine design of Caojiatan Coal Mine,the drainage equipment were selected.The mechanical operating point of the pump unit was calculated,and the change of the operating point of the pump unit were analyzed when the pump starts and stops.(2)The overall solution of the automatic drainage system was proposed by building the pump room monitoring unit,the pump operation centralized monitoring system and the industrial Ethernet network structure.According to the automatic control strategy of"avoiding peaks and filling",the automatic control flow of the pump start and stop was established.The pump and pipeline alternate operation control strategy was proposed,and also the corresponding relationship between gates state,pipelines and pumps.(3)The hardware platform of the automatic drainage system was established according to the overall solution.The control and display unit,the system monitoring and signal acquisition equipment,the electric gate valve actuators were selected,and the interconnection scheme between major hardware devices were also built.(4)According to the structural design of the upper computer monitoring software completed,the main monitor interface,the single pump operation monitoring interface,the parameter setting interface,the historical data query interface and the alarm data query interface were designed.
