The village-level planning is the basis of planning land use in the overall planning system. The implementation of the village-level planning directly related to the quality of the upper planning intent can be successfully implemented. At present, specialized planning softwares are not suitable for the village-level overall land use planning database standards in Chongqing City. And they have some limitation in village-level overall land use planning database construction in Chongqing. Therefore, it uses graphical modeling techniques to establish a database in this paper. It implements the construction methods and processes of the planning database through a model. When user use models, they need to select the appropriate model and input data and parameters, then they can easy, fast and accurately establish a village-level overall land use planning database in Chongqing.The basis of contrasting to the current planning for building the database software, it chooses ArcGIS as a platform for building a database in this paper. It is designed to village-level land use planning database of Chongqing City functional modules of building database model, based on the planning database construction process.It to solve the problems of planning database construction principles to design various models of the functional modules. These models are divided into two types:modelbuilder model and script model.The former is to use ArcGIS10Model Builder combination of space processing and analysis tools to achieve, and the latter is through the IDLE editor Python2.6scripting language call ArcPy site-package or ArcObject component object for the programming. Finally, as an example of construction on village-level land use planning database of the nanchuan in Chongqing, combined with the land use planning quality software, from database quality, efficiency and other aspects, It verifies the effect of the practice of construction of the database model. Then the construction of the database model and land use planning information system based on MapGIS do comparative analysis, from the database building efficiency and precision, simplicity and more suitable for chongqing database standards, etc.Main research findings include the followings: (1)It puts forward the solution to some technical problems of general land use planning and the database construction encountered in the process. Such as The spatial data topology mistakes, the land use broken figure spot to eliminate, the land use related area is calculated.(2)It proves to establish the land use planning the feasibility of the database from the view of modeling. And it provides a new train of thought and method for construction on land use database. And Practice proves method the usability is very strong.(3)It sets up construction of database model of village-level land-use database. Using this model can be quite simple, quick and accurate established village-level land-use planning database in Chongqing city.In this paper, Construction of the database model greatly reduces the cycle of planning and database construction.It improves the efficiency and quality of the database construction and guarantees the accuracy of the planning database. It is of great significance for the application of village-level land use planning database.
