Utilities electric power enterprises as a basic industry of national economy andthe service of the strong, is to meet the development of the national economy and theincrease of social demand for electricity as enterprise development goals. With thedevelopment of economy and the acceleration of the process of city, in order to meetthe requirements of economic and social development, the development andconstruction of power grid to walk in the forefront of economic development.Continuous upgrading of grid architecture, grid coverage continuously extended.How to improve the distribution network management ability, and service powerusers better to become the focus of attention of the electric power enterprise. Thisrequires a power supply enterprise in a device optimization and transformation ofpower system but also pay attention to the efficiency of distribution operation andmanagement. Research and development of automation technology of distributionnetwork, and the practicability of the pilot project benefit show, pointed out thedirection for the reform and development of power grid enterprises.Carry out the intelligent key technology of grid and operation management moderesearch to improve the reliability of power supply, improve the service quality ofpower supply enterprises, and provide technical support to improve the level ofmanagement. At the same time, the State Grid has the distribution automation, SG186engineering electricity information acquisition system, strengthen personnel training,smart grid, vigorously promote smart grid, strive for policy support, to create a goodenvironment for the construction of automation of distribution network.The utility of the distribution automation system as the main line, how to carryout the construction of distribution network automation research and analysis,distribution automation system architecture, master station, sub-station, terminalconfiguration, main technical requirements of information interaction, communicationetc.. In the south of Tianjin electric power supply branch distribution networkautomation demonstration project as an example, the summary is generated after theimplementation of the project’s benefits and positive significance, and existingproblems of the pilot project, the technology improved the next step forward. Topromote hope research contributes to the pilot project, for the construction of the future of smart distribution network and can provide successful experiences.
