With the rapid development of our economy and society, the application of dangerous goods become more and more widely, its volume also increases year by year. Currently, the railway transport of dangerous goods mainly focus on the railway special line of dangerous goods, every year, some enterprises built special lines to handle the transport of dangerous goods, thus, the location problem of special line becomes an important issue of dangerous goods transport.Currently, the location for railway special line of dangerous goods is mainly determined by experience to judge, has no theoretical guidance, there is no way to compare pros and cons for building special line of dangerous goods at different addresses. Therefore, this paper makes a depth study against the location for railway special line of dangerous goods, the main contents are as follows:Firstly, state relevant theoretical knowledge for railway special line of dangerous goods; at the same time, makes a classification for special line of dangerous goods systematically and choose the railway special lines of dangerous goods which handle oil products transport as examples, analyze its internal functional layout, and then make a research of location for railway special line of dangerous goods;Secondly, analyze the influencing factors of location for railway special line of dangerous goods; determine to take evaluation methods to study the location for railway special lines of dangerous goods; establish the index system which is suitable for location evaluation of railway special line of dangerous goods;Thirdly, study existing evaluation models and determine to select the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation based on analytic hierarchy process to achieve the research of location for railway special line of dangerous goods;Fourthly, case study, analyze the locate selection of railway special line of dangerous goods at two different addresses and compare its conclusions;Finally, combine this study, point out problems which need further reflection in the study and make a outlook for the future.The study shows that the indicator system and the model established in this paper is suitable for the research of location for railway special line of dangerous goods, the results help companies select the appropriate address to construct railway special line of dangerous goods, provide certain theoretical guidance when companies select location to built special line.
