Research And Implementation On Gateway Of Electric Energy Metering System Based On IEC61850

With the popularity of the intelligent substation, IEC61850standard has beenwidely used. Nowadays Substation Metering System is still using the traditional protocolof IEC60870-5-102. So it is necessary to convert existing protocol so as to realize thecommunication between original metering equipment and IEC61850standard equipment.102/61850gateway can achieve102specifications data transformation, obtain dataoutput consistent with the IEC61850standard, and realize information interactionbetween intelligent electronic devices.First of all, the development trends of current theories of IEC61850protocol, IEC60870-5series and Electric Energy Metering System at home and abroad are introducedin detail. The structure and characteristics of the IEC61850protocol, MMScommunication protocol stack and related methods have been theoretically analyzed. Themapping relationship between objects and services of MMS and IEC61850, have beenstudied in detail. The system structure of the IEC60870-5-102and its transmission modeand the communication process have been analyzed, and comparison between the twokinds of protocols has been made.Then, the IED model of electric energy acquisition terminal device is made, whichis based on SCLForge tools, describing the modeling process, and generating the relatedICD files. The relevant document SCL structure has been introduced. Meanwhile, itscorrectness and effectiveness through XmlEditor tools have been verified.Finally, the framework of102/61850gateway has been given out. The thesisanalyzes and studies in detail the design on gateway database, data mapping method,SCL document configuration, external resolution protocol and server to compile. Thedesign on IEC61850gateway function have been verified by IEDScout client testingsoftware. The conversion of102/61850protocol have been accomplished.
