Simulation And Optimization Study On Container Port Logistics System

With global economic integration， the port logistics is rising rapidly around theworld as an emerging industry. As container port logistics system has the function ofconnecting other mode of transportation， it has become the important areas of mo-dern logistics development.During recent years， the surging economy in China makes the cargo handlingcapacity of ports in China increasing rapidly. Tianjin port， as the main port in thenorthern china and the important port that is developing modern logistics， has alsoappeared some problems in the logistics system operation. So that how to use a morescientific planning and management methods to improve the operation efficiency ofcontainer port area logistics system has become the domestic hot spot topic.Taking example for Tianjin port container port logistics system， this papersyste-matically analyses the container terminal， container yard and the road net inthe port area. Using the WITNESS as the simulation platform， this paper constructedthe container terminal logistics system simulation model of front terminal and rearyard， and the verified model by experiment.For the operation problems of the container port logistics system in Tianjin port.By analyzing the cause of the problem， this paper puts forward the improvementprogram， then verified the improved scheme by simulation experiments. Eventuallyusing the improved plan to suggest on Tianjin port planning， construction and opera-tion， providing scientific basis for their decision-making.
