Abstract/Summary:
Municipal drainage is one backbone project that servers integrated sewage control and urban water-logging and flood prevention. As water pollution and urban water-logging is getting worse and worse, both the function and significance of drainage engineering reveals clearly.Drainage system’s pipelines are buried deeply under the ground, which may cause a huge influence upon civil living when breakdown occurs in its operation; also it is hard to discover and cope with. Hence, to guarantee the quality of one drainage project, it is necessary to strengthen the supervision within the entire constructing-process, in which plan, assessment, decision, design, construction and acceptance test, manufacture, occupancy are included. However, neither the level of project management nor the situation of informationized development is fallen far behind others, the overall efficiency and productivity of drainage projects are quite low. It then calls for an urgent need to improve drainage project management when water environment has been gradually concerned by China nowadays and numbers of large-scale drainage projects are nearing start.In project management, there is a set of intact frame for both the optimization and integration of related factors, and integrated management that rises overall efficiency, which tends tobe its development direction and important technological approach, especially in large scaleand multiple participants involved municipal engineering projects. Information system, on thebasis of project management risks analyzing and frame forming with integrated approaches, it turns out to be a feasible and effective way to rise success ratio.This paper analyzes domestic and abroad research on integrated management, and introduces life cycle management to municipal drainage management. Taking the test section of Donghao Chong in Guangzhou as example, it explores risks, difficulties and needs within that management; meanwhile, it organizes the system model and illustrates the preliminary design in the aspects such as structure, platform and function of information management system.The current research synchronizes with tunnel engineering in the test section of DonghaoChong in Guangzhou. Its findings may form a precise customer request report for municipaldrainage project management information platform. On the other hand, as the solid foundatio n for that information system, this paper servers later tunnel and drainage engineering in Guangzhou as well.
