Research On Mobile Telephone Communication Gateway And Mobile Application Of Beidou System

Beidou System is a satellite navigation system independently developed by China. With the rapid innovation and the growing requirement of the correlated industry of Beidou System, the research and exploitation of application of Beidou system has been proved to be a hotspot issue. The main functions of the system include navigation, location, short message communication and precise time-giving. And then, this paper connected the Beidou satellite communication network, the mobile telephone communication network and the computer network based on the short message communication function, expanding the usable range of the Beidou system.First of all, the required functions of the mobile telephone communication gateway of Beidou system were analyzed and the function model and information flow of the gateway was designed. The method based on parsing valid data and packaging again was adopted, the conversion of message transmitted among Beidou satellite communication network, the mobile telephone communication network and the computer network was realized. Furthermore, the database of communication gateway was designed according to the requirements of data transmission, conversion and storage. Finally, the cellphone mobile application software and mobile application server software were designed according to the kinds of data transmission and functional requirements, and the text and picture message can be processed, in addition, the cellphone mobile application software, mobile application server software and gateway operated synchronously and coordinately.The cellphone communication gateway was developed based on VC++ programming language, and the cellphone mobile application software was based on Android platform using Java programming language. The mobile telephone communication gateway of was simulated in the laboratory with BDG-MF-06 Beidou terminal and wavecom short message terminal. The test showed that the three networks were connected correctly and effectively, and the performance was as expect.
