Research On The Protection Of Traditional Style Of Historical And Cultural Town

The historic town created by the long history of Chinese civilization in the vast expanse of land. The unique traditional style of the historical town composed by the different ancient traditional culture the which has been brought up by differences of natural geographical environment and the historical buildings which include the wisdom and diligent of the ancestors. They also recorded the developmental footprint and the accumulation of civilization of the ancient town. However, with the growing progress of urbanization and modernization, the traditional style of the historic town has suffered by varying degrees of damage. Even if the historical and cultural towns which retain good traditional style and local features are also hard to be survived. Even more, the secondary impact brought by the unreasonable protection make the traditional style facing extinction helplessly. How to seek a sustainable development way to makes the right protection to the traditional style of the historical and cultural town has become the problem without delay.The paper by the traditional style of historical and cultural town as the research object By using the methods of literature retrieval, field survey, summary, comprehensive analysis and others, summarizing the related research status at home and abroad and combined with the practice of the protection of Songkou town in Fujian province to make the following finds:(1) By reading a lot of the literatures, defines the research object firstly. Then according to analyze the specific situation historical and cultural towns in China, researching of the impact factors of the formation of the traditional style of historical and cultural towns from three aspects of natural, culture and economic. Then, according to the purpose of this study, analyzed and summarized the outstanding achievements at home and abroad, in order to extract the relevant theory for this study.(2) According to the instruction of theories, combined with the basic research contents of research results and the results of previous studies, summarize constitute the elements of the traditional style of historical and cultural town as the landscape of ancient town elements, natural environmental elements and humanities environmental elements. Then, combining the constitute elements, analyzes and summarizes the five characteristics of the traditional style of historical and cultural town.(3) Analyzing the main problems faced by protection of the traditional style of the historical and cultural town, taking classic examples by the domestic and foreign protection planning, and reading a large number of relevant literature, summarizes four principles to adapt to protection of the traditional style of the historical and cultural town. Under the guidance of the principle of protection, proposed the concrete countermeasure and protection mode of protection to solve the main problems.(4) Finally, through the case study of the protection of traditional style of Songkou Town in Fujian Province to illustrate the application of the method in practice.
