Under the guidance of national energy environmental protection policies, the numbers of national car ownership and CNG stationscontinue to increase in recent years. In this context, the market demand of CNG dispenser is gradually increasing and the structure and function also needs to improve.This topic proposed a controller which based on ARM11core instead of traditional Single chip microcomputer controller. The system not only has better processing performance, and on the basis of compatible with existing external equipment to carry on the function extension. The system can realize the network connectionand support more humanized operation mode. Moreover it can be used as commercial products on the market.The system has employedthe most popular ARM+LINUX development mode and carried on the design and development from hardware to software step by step. Hardware using the technical route of the "core board+extended board", core board including CPU and memory system, expansion board including all gas dispenser machine dedicated interface. The design of the extension board in this system can be compatible with other versions of the core board, so that the system has both compatibility and innovative. Software mainly based on LINUX system for software development, including the driver design and application design. Driven design includes hardware interface that all add jet business needs:solenoid valve, A/D sampling, temperature sensors, RS232\485interface, keyboard, screen, IIC block-EEPROM, SPI bus interface and pulse flowmeter, etc. The application design mainly was based on the QT interface library under the LINUX development.This topic was basically completed the sample design and development work of gas dispenser controller and achieved the expected requirements, also put forward the late perfect and improvement plan.
