Research and application of distribution automation in China is from ninety timelater period really begins to carry out pilot projects and large range of projectimplementation. During the1999-2002two networks, each network of provincialcompanies have built a number of pilot distribution automation system, but due to theimmaturity of technology, but also more frequent grid restructuring and other reasons,most of the region’s distribution automation system construction failed to achieve thedesired objectives. Since2009, the energetic efforts of the national grid, there aremore than20cities to start a pilot. In addition, there are a considerable part of thearea will be adapted to local conditions, realize feeder automation functions.Distribution automation using a computer system for power distributionequipment management program under the jurisdiction of the city to monitor thedistribution equipment can not only realize the "three remote" function, but also canidentify problem areas and to determine the function, is an implementation withpower tools of modern management. Nanchang Hi-tech Development Zone as anational technology industrial development zone, the level and degree of automationequipment distribution network there is a big gap. In this Area realize the need for apower distribution grid automation, primary equipment and communication systemsto transform the building. After the realization of the distribution automation, canadjust the distribution network structure and reactive configuration to achieve thepurpose of optimizing operating modes and balanced load distribution.This paper studies the planning and construction of high-tech zone in Nanchangdistribution automation system as the main content, including regional selection,construction planning targets, distribution network master system platform design andconstruction, distribution terminal building programs. Projects to improve theintelligence level of the distribution network and modern management level as thegoal, so as to improve power quality and service level objectives.
