As the recovery of the world economy, the construction industry has been rapid development in recent years. However, construction industry which is a backbone industry in China needs to consume a large amount of natural resource and to increase the environmental load in the construction process. Compared to other industries, the construction industry should have more responsibilities for the natural resources, energy consumption and environmental pollution. Based on the above analysis, the implementation of sustainable development in the construction industry is imminent, green building has become an inevitable trend of development in the future. The whole process of management throughout the construction project and the sustainable development strategy is very necessary for the sustainable development of the construction industry. Compare to the other stages of the construction project, construction phase is a phase which is a most serious impact on the environment and is the most concentrated resource consumption stage. Compare to the traditional construction, green construction is based on the vision of sustainable development of innovation and development, it is the efficient use of resources, with environmental protection first for the principle of high efficiency, low energy consumption and environmental protection construction system, green construction is necessary for the control and management of sustainable development during the construction phase. Establish a scientific and reasonable evaluation index system of green construction can able to promote the standardization and normalization of green construction, so as to promote the development of green construction.In order to accurately evaluate the level of green building construction, and promote the comprehensive development of China’s Green Construction, the evaluation index system of green construction carried out in-depth analysis and research, in the basis of the characteristics of the development of our country construction industry and the home and abroad green building rating system, a scientific and practical green construction evaluation system have been established. The main contents of research are:(1)This paper was start with the development of the theory of green construction, from the concept of green construction, sustainable development of the theory and a comprehensive evaluation methods theory analysis, the main content of green construction was summarized as the following six aspects:, environmental protection, material resource use, water conservation and water use, energy use and energy saving, and construction land protection, green construction management and every aspect was conducted in depth.(2)On the basis of comparative analyses of the green building assessment system at home and abroad on the aspect of the development process, the index system, the results of the evaluation and combined with the "Non-green" influencing factors and the characteristics of China’s construction and related technical specification requirements, a green construction evaluation system was established from six aspects:Four saves and environmental protection and the management of green construction.(3)Green Construction is considered a multi-objective, multi-factor, multi-level complex system, it has the characteristics of "grey system", so combination with the green construction characteristics, a grey cluster assessment methodology was used as Green Construction evaluation methods in this paper, and to improve the science and accuracy of the evaluation system.(4)The green construction evaluation index system and gray clustering evaluation model which have been established in this paper apply into an actual project, by analysis of the application of the gray clustering evaluation method to evaluate the green rating of the project construction in actual project, the evaluation system established in this paper was certified to be scientific and operable.
