With the development of manufacturing technology, there is a greater demand for thedesign of processing technology, process control and processing quality. In fact, arobust design is proposed towards the electrochemical machining.In this work, in order to achieve the optimal overall target of electrochemicalprocessing technique, we put forward a design method of combining the qualityfunction deployment (QFD) and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP), and establisha model of the robust design based on electrochemical processing technique ofQFD-FAHP, considering the robust goals for design objectives. The orthogonal testmethod is adopted to evaluate these three factors affecting the comprehensive precisionof electrochemical machining, such as current, processing voltage and feed rate,construct the optimal combination mode, set up the computational method ofpre-estimated values for the index, and verify the validity and practicability of themethod with examples.All kinds of parameters involved in electrochemical machining are used as basic data.By analyzing and calculating of the database, we improve the parameter datebase ofelectrochemical machining process. Moveover, this datebase is used as a backenddatabase of processing and control process, in order to develop the databasemanagement system of electrochemical machining using Delphi7and Microsoft SQLServer2008software platform. The use of database is achieved by interactive modeprovided by the database management system. The established system can achievevarious query functions for the data information of electrochemical machining, thestorage and maintenance functions of a datebase, and improve the criterion ofparameters for further parts processing.
