With the vigorous development of the tourism industry in China, the modified historic blocks as the tourism development potential resources more and more get the attention of the society from all walks of life and value. But the current investigation and research on domestic evaluation (POE) of the modificationg works is still in its infancy, all aspects of the research data and results are not perfect. Based on the research at home and abroad on the basis of modified historical blocks using post occupancy evalution, trying to build POE evaluation model and method for the Hengdaohezi town’s historical block transformation, and analysis different types of user evaluation variance for the Hdaohezi town historical block transformation.The user has the vital significance to the evaluation of historical block transformation, Are the direct factors decide the reform success. This paper generalizations the Hengdaohezi town of historical block transformation current user evaluation respectively from the Angle of environmental psychology and behavioral science. And on this basis, proposed the POE method applicable to the cross river town environmental reconstruction of historical block feature space. Combining the theory of environmental psychology, analysis of motivation for Residents and tourists difference POE evaluation, put forward some suggestions on the Hengdaohezi town historic blocks subsequent modification, fill the gaps in the historical block transformation of POE methods field practice.This study firstly introduced the cross river town after transforming the basic situation of the historical block, expounded and analyzed the basic data survey, in-depth interviews and behavior survey results, perfect he meaning of historical block characteristics in the Hengdaohezi town. Secondly, through building the questionnaire model of POE evaluation on the Hengdaohezi town’s historical block transformation, obtain evaluation in different attributes of residents and tourists from the user questionnaire feedback. Finally, in combination with the evaluation results and the actual situation of modification works in the Hengdaohezi town, put forward strategy for the historical block transformation On the basis of different consumers psychological needs. Provide Suggestions for reference for subsequent modification of the historic district.
