The Planing Design And Measures On Cities’ Residential Landscape In Cold Regions

With the rapid development and progress of economy in our country, people have the increasing requirement of external environment. Especially the residential community is closely related to their own interests. In the urban landscape, residential landscape has the most closely related with people’s daily lives. Because it is not only the largest open space in the residential area but also the biggest leisure space in outdoors. It plays important role in improving the quality of residents’ lives. The landscape design of every city has closely relationship with its geographical environment and climate conditions. The good climate condition is an important guarantee to build high level of residential landscape, such as kunming and hainan in China, because of their good climate conditions, they can achieve the effects of four spring-like and brilliant purples and reds in the process of planning of. But for the cold region of climate condition, many restricted factors will be faced in planning of the residential landscape. The unique charm generated by our cold region in the natural environment provides unique geographical resources for the construction of urban landscape, such as ice and snow resources. But at the same time, because of special climate environment, it also brings a number of limiting factors in the planning of the residential landscape.In addition to solve the problems existing in the planning of the residential landscape, the cold winter weather and plants going to hibernation which cause singletype of vegetables, gray colors and the lack of the regional characteristics will be faced. Nowadays, the planning of city residential landscape in cold regions is developing into two aspects. on the one hand, most of the residential landscape planning blindly follow the experiences of southeast coastal developed cities. on the other hand, a few cold cities have realized the effects of climate on the residential landscape planning, but they only focus on the simple planning on some evergreen landscape vegetation in winter, which is no use of overall environment of the community and the improvement of the residents’ quality of life.This paper aims to study the planning present situation and successful cases to cities’ residential landscape in cold region at home and abroad and to comprehensively analyze the actual conditions of the local environment and existing problems in order to finding effective measures to the optimization residents’ living environment in cold region, to overcome the harsh limiting of climate and to effective planning of cities’ residential area, which have a wide range of practical significance in the creation of landscape possessing the regional characteristics and the improvement of the residents’ quality of life.
