Research On Renovation For The Aged Of The Old Residential Environment In Cold Region

Settlements are closely related to daily lives of most residents.However,most of the old residential environments have been out of touch with the high-speed urban renewal environment to some extent.At the same time,there are still some problems with the lack of integration,outdoor chaos and low utilization of space.The physical and mental health of citizens is closely related to the quality of residential environment.Most existing residents in old settlements have already been old.Thus,in current period of severe population aging,it’s neccessary to reform the living quarters according to the psychological,physical and behavioral needs of the elderly to ensure the old people will have safe,comfortable and spiritual life in their later life.However,most of the data on reconstruction of the old residential settlements focus on residential buildings rather than the external environment;In recent years,although a series of old settlements renovation projects have been launched in our country,there are still some problems in theory and practice despite achievements.Therefore,it is very important to pay more attention on the environment-friendly special study of the old residential areas in cold areas.In first part of the thesis,it presents the background,research object and methods of the topics,and then summarizes the research status at home and abroad.It points out the urgency and necessity of the research,and shows the significance of the rehabilitative reform of the old settlements in cold area.Secondly,based on the basic analysis of the old settlements environment in the cold area,it carrys out the field investigation with several existing typical old residential areas in cold region.The existing problems in settlements environment are summarized,and it concludes the influencing factors of adaptation to aging and principles of transforming design.Finally,it analyzes and studies from three main aspects of promoting neighborhood interaction,ensuring the safety of behavior and improving the quality of space.The relationship between the chapters is in-depth and concretes at each level.It points out the reconstruction techniques with regional characteristics,strong pertinence and operability,reasonable economy of the old settlements environment.It is hoped that by summarizing the method of renovation for the aged of the old residential entironment in cold region,the thesis will bring positive meaning to the residential environment and development of cold region,and provide effective reference and decision-making basis for related research in this field in the future.
