Cathode copper is an important industrial raw material, which are widely used to national economy in various fields. By introducing foreign advanced equipment, the equipment level and production efficiency of domestic nonferrous metal smelting enterprises increased significantly, but the packaging of cathode copper panel has not yet formed a mature technology, and also does not have the high efficient and reliable dedicated equipment.Most companies use simple manual work with the high labor intensity and low production efficiency. At the same time, the configuration form of imported equipment that is expensive doesn’t match enterprise management system. Therefore, it’s high time to upgrade and rebuild the existing copper cathode panel packing equipment, and especially it is imperative to develop the cathode copper automatic packing machine in order to meet the requirements of the development of this industry.Elevating conveyor is the key equipment the cathode copper automatic packaging machine, and it forms the various units of machine into a whole by connecting all packaging operation processes. The automatic delivery of materials in each package processing workshop replaced the original forklift transport by elevating conveyor, and all processes completed by PLC automatic control.Working characteristics of the elevating conveyor are:fast working rhythm, the heavy load, frequent positive and negative, frequent starting and stopping of transport. Based on the characteristics above, there are two key technical problems:1) It needs to make sure that the lifting synchronicity, so the connection between the ball screw elevator adopts U correlation method, in order to avoid unnecessary additional load such as partial load;2) It needs to set up a reasonable drive mode reducing lateral force that it will inevitably produce in delivery of starting and braking, so it needs to design guide support mechanism to balance the lateral force.This article calculate key technical parameters elevating conveyor, discuss the elevating conveyor lift synchronization and conveying scheme, determine the elevating conveyor design through the design of cathode copper packaging processing station first. It sets up a transmission dynamics model to get the momentum equation of conveyor delivery, so it puts up a trapezoidal speed delivery drive mode that can greatly reduce the lateral force which produced in delivery process. And then it studies with the dynamic characteristics under different transmission drive way with the dynamic analysis of elevating conveyor with the simplified model in Adams. Finally, it discusses structure the strength and stiffness parameters such as stress, deformation conveyor frame under static condition in ANSYS Workbench. It puts forward to design guide support mechanism in the direction of lateral force to increase constraints to balance the lateral force, in order to avoid the impact of the lateral force to ball screw elevator, and it also has reference significance to the more scientific and reasonable design of elevating conveyor.Practice shows that the connecting of U can guarantee the elevating synchronization of elevating conveyor, triangle speed drive mode can greatly reduce lateral force of the transportation process, the design of guiding support wheel can balance the lateral force of the transportation process to avoid the impact of the ball screw elevator. And it has proved the validity of the study.
