With the development of logistics informatization, Internet of Things can be used in railway logistics. This can bring large benefit and has far-reaching influence on logistics enterprises and railway administrations. There are two cores of research in this paper: building a suitable evaluation model, and using the model to make comparative analysis of logistics enterprises benefit after the Internet of Things is used.Firstly the paper analyses the use of Internet of Things in logistics, logistics benefit evaluation and the benefit evaluation in China Railway Express (CRE). Secondly, Internet of Things and CRE logistics pattern will be discussed in detail. Then, CRE logistics benefit evaluation theory based on Internet of Things is analyzed qualitatively. Moreover, from the perspective of logistics enterprises and taking into account the benefit of stakeholders, the logistics benefit evaluation indicator system in CRE based on Internet of Things is built at last after a series of process such as comparative analysis of the flow before and after the use of Internet of Things, field survey, questionnaire inquiry and system modeling with factor analysis; The indicator system contains 4 criterion layers,15 first class indicators,45 second class indicators and 2 project hierarchies which include CRE existing business process as the first scheme, and CRE business process based on Internet of Things as the second scheme. At last, the weight of the indicator system is solved in use of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and improved algorithm based on grey correlation degree. And at the same time, empirical analysis is made in CRE operation departments in Dalian and Qiqihar. Evaluation and comparison of the two schemes is made based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE).Theoretical value of the research in this paper is that the analysis of CRE value activity based on Internet of Things is made with the theory of value-chain analysis, and CRE logistics interest body is determined with stakeholder theory. And this also includes the construction of indicator system with qualitative and quantitative analysis, determination of weight with AHP and improved algorithm based on grey correlation degree, and empirical analysis with FCE. On the other side, the research also has practical value. Firstly, the logistics benefit evaluation indicator system in CRE based on Internet of Things is built after comparative analysis of the logistics benefit before and after the use of Internet of Things. Secondly, empirical analysis is made in CRE to evaluate the logistics benefit difference before and after the use of Internet of Things. And this provides logistics enterprises with decision advice whether to use the Internet of Things.
