In modern life and production, uses a lot of power electronic devices and electrical equipment, these devices need to consume a large amount of their reactive power. If these reactive power consumed by the generator issue, and then after long distance transmission, will inevitably lead to the grid voltage drops, the line loss increases, neither environmental nor economic. So-place grid reactive power compensation, to avoid long-distance transmission of reactive power to reduce losses, stabilize the voltage, in line with energy saving requirements of modern society.For the past synchronous condenser, fixed capacitor series of problems and deficiencies, this paper proposes a novel based on TCR + TSC-type switching mode of SVC, TSC, TCR are carried out using non-contact switching thyristors, fast accurate. TSC flexible grouping, which can produce multiple sets of switching capacity values of different sizes, and with a small investment, does not produce harmonics and other advantages. TCR enables inductive reactive power of continuous adjustment, offset by TSC overcompensation produces excess capacitive reactive power, but to make compensation. And TCR + TSC type SVC easy maintenance, no noise, easy installation.The main control chip controller uses TMS320F2812, switching chip optocoupler TLP521, achieve isolation between the strong and weak electricity. Go through the controller circuit voltage and current collection grid signal processing, is converted into a voltage in line with DSP chip pin level of 0 ~ 3.3V, and is sampled by the ADC module, and then calculates the internal DSP to calculate the Q value determine whether the switching regulator inductors and capacitors.Finally matlab simulation model to establish control by controlling different groups TSC and TCR were switching to observe changes in the grid power factor, the feasibility of reactive power compensation controller type.
