The new generation intelligent transformer substation dynamic recording device is based on Electric Power Industry Standard DL/T 553-201 X. The power system dynamic recording device combines digital fault recorder and network log analysis device by this standard. This thesis is based on the analysis of the function and implementation of the traditional fault recorder, research on the technique of IEC-61850 based digital fault recorder and the function and implementation of network log analysis device. The research is about the design of the new generation intelligent transformer substation software of dynamic recording device. The main research contents and achievements include:1. Research on the rapid storage and retrieval of mass data. The mass data includes raw network packet data and the steady state record data.We designed a user-defined mass file system for these two kinds of data with time stamp. Indexing by the time stamp, this method achieved a rapid retrieval of data fragments in 4TB data so that the retrieval time is less than 2 seconds. This new method avoids the performance degradation which is caused by cyclic storage of data.2.Research on the design of transient state fault recorder function. Design and implementation of the Fourier transform(A time-domain to frequency-domain transform method) based discrete sampling data analysis, which start criteria and process. With the traditional algorithm, the huge real-time computation often leads to the CPU overload and even system crashes. We design a sliding window based Fourier transform algorithm which can speed up 20 times.3. Research on the function, design principle, and implementation of fault waveform analysis software through the study of phasor, harmonic and power analysis.4. Research on an agent based mechanism process communication to solve the problem of process communication and cooperation. The implementation of multiplexing of two kinds of service on a TCP port.It meets the needs of a new intelligent transformer substation after testing by CEPRI(China Electric Power Research Institute).
