Project management involves two core aspects including project quality and project benefit. The progress of the project management and project cost management, project quality management are the most important three contents in project management. Schedule plan and schedule control is the key to ensure the timely completion of project management. The protection of the ancient city of Qingzhou city repair construction project is lacked in progress management consciousness, management methods and professional progress control personnel.The schedule management foundation is weak, which have a great impact on project success. Construction project schedule control is an important part of project management, which is also an important content of project that will help achieve earnings.And therefore, the conservation and restoration project for the Qingzhou ancient city has great significance to research on schedule management.This paper uses a combination of theory and practice, data analysis and literature research methods, which is based on the city of Qingzhou ancient city protection and restoration construction project.It discusses in detail the practical application of the process method in the project schedule management. This article first briefly introduced the basic theory and method of schedule management. Secondly, discusses in detail the application of the relevant theories of progress management in Qingzhou ancient city protection and restoration construction project schedule. Then, the article expounds the implementation and control the process of Qinzhou ancient city protection and restoration construction project schedule. Finally, the actual progress and planned schedule of the project were examined, by inspection, found that the deviation of the actual progress of the cause of the deviation in the process, through the analysis of actual progress process, adjustments were made to the project plan, in order to improve the effectiveness of the project schedule and stability.In this paper, the theory and method of project management is applied in engineering practice and project management software is used as a tool to enable project managers to quickly acquire engineering data needs which can provide support for decision-making, minimizes the planning process of the workload, improve work efficiency, shorten the construction period, and furthermore can achieve a balanced allocation of resources purpose.
