Vehicles Parking Facilities Design In China Jumbo Airport Research

With the development of world economic integration, the civil aviation industry plays an increasing important role in the international economic, civil air transport in demand greatly stimulates the development of the airport industry. Today, large scale and function diversity become the mainstream of the airport development in some metropolitan areas. Under the background of this development, the function transformation, the convenient transfer service for the passengers and the solution of parking problems have become topics worth exploring.In view of the above problems, this paper takes Xi’an Xian yang international airport as the example, studies the parking facilities in many jumbo airports in the world. The paper on the basis of a great number of related references analyzed the characteristics of the airport landside traffic; raises a series of factors that influence the landside traffic system; analyzed the advantages and disadvantages and applicable scope of different types of parking facilities; raises a suitable parking predication model. In the discussion of the design integration of the parking facilities, the paper focused on the combination of landside joint transportation, parking facilities, the layout of the terminal building and the station square. Focus on the architectural design of parking facilities, the paper raises series suggestions on the combination of the parking facilities and the commercial, catering, entertainment spaces and the landscape. Finally, take the parking facility of Xi’an Xian yang international airport as the example, this paper studies its planning, traffic streamline design to summarize its design problems, and based on the experience in the planning and design, raises the guidance suggestion on the development of the underground parking garage of Xi’an Xian yang international airport that is in planning.The author hopes getting a deeper understanding on the parking facilities design of China jumbo airport based on the research in this paper. At the same times, hopes that the design principal and mode raised in this paper could provide the referential value for the future parking facilities design of jumbo airport in our country.
