In order to effectively solve the management of power and environment in communication base stations, the paper designs a special PV power controller. Acording to the particularity of stations, the PV power controller realizes the two main functions, intelligent power management and remote environment monitoring. Beacause of these ones, the controller ensures the high reliability of the mobile communication finally. The research of the paper involves mainly photovoltaic technology, embedded technology, wireless communication technology and remote monitoring technology, etc. The main contents of this paper are as follows.(1) The intelligent control of photovoltaic power of stations. In this paper, the STM32 (ARM Cortex-M3 kernel) 32-bit microprocessor is selected to be the intelligent central unit. The functions is completed that intelligent man-computer interaction, historical data storage, inter-module communication, standby power control, station environment parameters acquirement, battery energy management, electric protect, etc.(2) The intelligent sensor and analysis of station terminal. By analying the sensitivity, accuracy, stability, and acquiring cost of parameters, the paper proposes the reasonable signal acquiring solution and the specific hardware circuits. The filtering software program in the paper can eliminate the external pulse, random and periodic interference.(3) The wireless and remote monitoring technology of stations. In order to complete the wireless transmisson of station data, the paper takes a secondary development on the basic of GTM900C module. The key technologies of module are SMS technology and GPRS technology.(4) Monitoring software design. Using C# language, VS2008 software, SQL Server 2000, the paper designs the center monitoring software, which greatly improves the work efficience of engineers and staff. The design work mainly includes target analysis, software interface, data communication and database design, etc.Finally, the hardware and software test result show that the PV power controller of stations basically reached the expected technical indexs.
