In recent years, the scale of China’s construction industry is rapidly expanding, the output value is increasing, but it has the problem of low production efficiency, huge waste and low project value. Based on a large number of documents, this paper analyzes the causes of the above problems, and draws the conclusion:in the condition of increasingly complex and management requirements, the traditional mode of production and management has been unable to adapt to the lack of advanced technology and effective management tool is the root cause of these problems.BIM as a kind of advanced information technology and architectural concept, through the parametric model to integrate all kinds of information, in the whole life cycle process to transmit and share, form a party, across multiple stages of collaborative work of digital platform, can solve the above problems, improve project value?By using BIM technology, the paper analyzes the feasibility of BIM technology applied to project value management, and compares the application of BIM technology in project value promotion. The paper also introduces the application of BIM technology to improve the value of BIM technology.Finally through the Shanghai center project successfully applied BIM technology to solve a series of major problems of the project case, analysis and further verify the engineering project life cycle each stage application BIM technology to improve the project value of the time, path and mechanism, for the future project value management and fine management to provide theoretical reference.
